In the second series of best practice case studies on Product Design, Simon Terry of Anglepoise, Cressida Granger of DeWeNe and Tom Fishburne from Method Products each presented a fifteen minute presentation of their ethical design practices at greengaged on Tuesday 16th September.


Simon Terry of Anglepoise showed various products to illustrate the companies ecologically friendly principles. Explaining their ambition to be the best at what they do, Simon advised; “Strive to be the best in your field. The world is so competitive, there is no middle ground.”


Cressida Granger, founder of DeWeNe showcased the Hook & Go foldable shopping trolley, and their collaboration with RCA graduate designer David Weatherhead to produce the Eco Cooler.


Tom Fishburne closed the product showcase by introducing the work of San Francisco founded Method Products, a sustainable household cleaning line. “Consumers want to do the right thing, but the decisions are often complex. Therefore, a brand can be used to create trust without confusion” Tom concluded.
