Verbs (Regular and Irregular)

Verbs are regular when the past tense form ends in _ed.  They are irregular if the past tense form does not end in final _ed.

I have developed a list of common regular and irregular verbs when printed can be on one piece of letter-size paper.  It is a very handy tool to have at your finger tips when you need to find the verb you need.

Grammar Lesson #1 Nouns (Count and Non-count)

There are more nouns in the English language than any other part of speech.  We use the article “a” in front of words that begin with a consonant.  We use the article “an” in front of words that begin with a vowel. If the word is plural we use “the” in front of them.

Use these notes to practice using these articles.  Note: All words that end in an “s” are pronounced like an /s/ or /z/ or /iz/.  It takes practice to learn and master these sounds.

For non-count nouns (like milk) you do not use “a” or “an”.  You use “some” or the other words listed.
